In Saturday's non-league test, the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) basketball squad trounced the host Cloverdale Eagles (Cloverdale, CA), by a score of 69-40.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Santa Rosa Panthers (Santa Rosa, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 16. Rancho Cotate will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 47-37 non-league win over Napa (Napa, CA).

With the loss, Cloverdale falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Helena (St. Helena, CA) to play the Saints in a North Central I bout on Tuesday, December 16.
