The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets nipped the visiting Elkhart Elks basketball squad by a final score of 54-47 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 16. Elysian Fields will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 1-6 record after their 46-36 non-league loss to Union Hill (Gilmer, TX).
