With the victory, Van Alstyne advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Panthers host Sherman (Sherman, TX) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 16. The Bearcats enter the battle with a record of 1-13. Sherman lost 72-48 in their recent non-league battle against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX)
The Jaguars now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewisville for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, December 19. Flower Mound will battle a Farmers team coming off a 75-74 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 6-9.
