In Saturday's non-league battle, the Hardin Valley Academy Hawks (Knoxville, TN) basketball squad routed the visiting Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN), by a count of 85-43.

With the victory, Hardin Valley Academy advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Hawks host Karns (Knoxville, TN) to meet the Beavers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 16. The Beavers enter the battle with a record of 4-5. Karns lost 65-59 in their recent league battle against Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN)
