In Saturday's non-league bout, the La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX) basketball team edged the host Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX), by a tally of 65-61.

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league bout on Friday, December 19.
