The Owyhee Storm basketball team (Meridian, ID), was tipped 65-63 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT)

The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Gaels go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Bishop Gorman nipped Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV), 72-55, in a non-league match.

The Storm now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Damien for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Owyhee will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Pearl City (Pearl City, HI). The Monarchs record now stands at 5-7.
