Texas High School Basketball - Nocona fells McLeod
December 13, 2025: Nocona, TX 76255 The Nocona Indians basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting McLeod Longhorns to 37 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Forestburg for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16. Nocona will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 43-11 non-league win over Thackerville (Thackerville, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-5.
The Longhorns (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Yantis (Yantis, TX). The Owls enter the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Yantis achieved victory over Atlas Prep (Dallas, TX), 72-43, in a non-league game.
