The Wewoka Tigers nudged the host Preston Pirates basketball team by a margin of 65-63 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Tigers now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Broken Bow for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Wewoka will confront a Savages team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Hooks (Hooks, TX). The Savages record now stands at 1-2.
