Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX), 55-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sabinal upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-4. Ingram Moore lost 56-42 in their recent non-league match against Randolph (Universal City, TX)

The Buffaloes now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nueces Canyon for a 1A Region IV District 31 match on Friday, December 19. Utopia will face a Panthers squad coming off a 57-17 non-league loss to Knippa (Knippa, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.
