In Saturday's non-league bout, the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) basketball team were winner over the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), by a tally of 66-54.

The Spartans now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Truckee for a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. Spring Creek will play a Wolverines team coming off a 69-22 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, South Tahoe falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Portola (Portola, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Portola lost 69-45 in their recent non-league bout against Quincy (Quincy, CA)
