Minnesota High School Basketball - Blooming Prairie can't hold off Fillmore Central
December 13, 2025: Blooming Prairie, MN 55917 Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN) backers were thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN), 55-49 in a league game.
The Falcons now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league game on Monday, December 29. Fillmore Central will confront a Teddies team coming off a 70-42 league loss to Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN). The Teddies record now stands at 5-1.
The Awesome Blossoms (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Cardinals go into the A Section 1 game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Bethlehem Academy nipped Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN), 49-27, in a league game.
