In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Carver A&T Wildcats basketball team scored a close 35-31 triumph over the Green Street Academy Chargers.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lansdowne (Baltimore, MD). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Lansdowne was nudged by New Town (Owings Mills, MD), 72-27, in a league match.

The Chargers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver Vo-Tech for a Baltimore City match on Thursday, December 18.
