The Marion Swamp Foxes basketball squad (Marion, SC), was nudged 56-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Dillon Wildcats (Dillon, SC)

The Wildcats (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Darlington (Darlington, SC). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Darlington edged Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC), 72-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Swamp Foxes battle the Mullins Auctioneers (Mullins, SC) in a AA Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
