Texas High School Basketball - Hermleigh overwhelms Hamlin
December 13, 2025: Hamlin, TX 79520 The Hermleigh Cardinals basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Hamlin Pied Pipers to 33 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now have a 16-0 record. They play next when they travel to Roby for a 1A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, December 16. Hermleigh will confront a Lions team coming off a 55-27 non-league loss to Blackwell (Blackwell, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-11.
The Pied Pipers (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ). The enter the non-league outing with a 24-107 record. In their last outing, Non Varsity Tournament Opponent was overwhelmed by Chireno (Chireno, TX), 49-4, in a non-league outing.
