December 13, 2025: Oak Lawn, IL 60453 Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) boosters were thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team bounce the host Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL), 60-24 in a non-league game.
The Celtics now have a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Romeoville for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 17. Providence Catholic will confront a Spartans team coming off a 62-33 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 0-14.
With the loss, Oak Lawn falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Lockport (Lockport, IL) to confront the Porters in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 17. The Porters go into the game with a record of 8-3.
