In Saturday's non-league test, the Prairie Mustangs (New Raymer, CO) basketball squad trounced the visiting Union Colony Prep Timberwolves (Greeley, CO), by a score of 51-30.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 18. Prairie will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 33-27 non-league win over Wiggins (Wiggins, CO).

With the loss, Union Colony Prep falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Dawson School (Lafayette, CO) to play the Mustangs in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High test on Wednesday, January 7. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 3-1. Dawson School won 58-2 in their recent non-league test against Poudre Community Academy (Fort Collins, CO)
