With the victory, Mendota betters its record to 8-1 on the year. The Aztecs host Riverdale (Riverdale, CA) to face the Cowboys in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 0-2. Riverdale lost 27-9 in their recent non-league match against Woodlake (Woodlake, CA)
The Mustangs now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmersville for a non-league match on Friday, January 2. Minarets will battle a Aztecs team coming off a 26-13 non-league loss to Wonderful College Prep Academy (Lost Hills, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 1-3.
