Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA), 54-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Colonial Forge upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Caroline (Milford, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 17. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Caroline lost 60-55 in their recent non-league bout against Southside Baptist Christian (Richmond, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) in a AAA Commonwealth bout, on Tuesday, December 18. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 70-58 non-league win over King George (King George, VA).
