Michigan High School Basketball - Adrian nips Sexton
December 14, 2021: Adrian, MI 49221 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Adrian Maples (Adrian, MI) and the visiting Sexton Big Reds (Lansing, MI), saw Adrian's basketball squad hold off Sexton by a tally of 85-79.
With the victory, Adrian improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Maples travel to Northwest (Jackson, MI) to play the Mounties in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 29. The Mounties come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Northwest lost 55-37 in their recent league challenge against Western (Parma, MI)
Next up, the Big Reds play the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds (Eaton Rapids, MI) in a Capital Area - White challenge, on Friday, December 17. Sexton will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 73-48 non-league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
