Amherst Broncos (Amherst, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Arcadia/Loup City Rebels (Arcadia, NE), 51-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Amherst upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Broncos travel to Axtell (Axtell, NE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Axtell lost 63-55 in their recent non-league bout against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE)

Next up, the Rebels play the St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 17. Arcadia/Loup City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 45-39 non-league win over Adams Central (Hastings, NE).
