Kentucky High School Basketball - Barren County overwhelms Caverna
December 14, 2021: Glasgow, KY 42141 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) and the visiting Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY), saw Barren County's basketball squad wallop Caverna by a tally of 71-49.
With the victory, Barren County improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Russellville (Russellville, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Colonels play the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a District 18 challenge, on Friday, December 17. Caverna will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 4-0 record after their 72-43 non-league win over Green County (Greensburg, KY).
