Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier can't hold off Centennial
December 14, 2021: Sugar Hill, GA 30518 The Centennial Knights basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Lanier Longhorns to 59 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkview for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 18. Centennial will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
The Longhorns (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Buford (Buford, GA). The Wolves enter the AAAAAA Region 8 contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Buford nudged Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA), 74-52, in a non-league contest.
