Kentucky High School Basketball - Portland Christian overwhelmed by Central
December 14, 2021: Louisville, KY 40203 The Central Yellowjackets basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Portland Christian Eagles to 39 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western for a non-league contest on Friday, December 17. Central will battle a Warriors team coming off a 83-75 non-league win over Doss (Louisville, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brown (Louisville, KY). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Brown triumphed over Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY), 55-40, in a non-league contest.
