California High School Basketball - Windward nips Chaminade
December 14, 2021: West Hills, CA 91304 Windward Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Chaminade Eagles (West Hills, CA), 41-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Windward upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA) to play the Sentinels in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 16. The Sentinels come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Inglewood won 62-58 in their recent non-league bout against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 17. Chaminade will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 80-29 non-league win over Royal (Simi Valley, CA).
