The Franklin Wildcats basketball team (Elk Grove, CA), dropped 52-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA)

The Mustangs now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponderosa for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 21. Monterey Trail will battle a Bruins team coming off a 62-56 non-league win over Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-0.

The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Timberwolves come into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record.
