December 14, 2021: Mitchell, IN 47446 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) and the visiting Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN), saw Mitchell's basketball squad wallop Shoals by a tally of 68-23.
With the victory, Mitchell improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Bluejackets host Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Scottsburg lost 72-50 in their recent league challenge against Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN)
Next up, the Jug Rox play the Borden Braves (Borden, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 16. Shoals will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 44-39 non-league win over Southwestern (Hanover, IN).
