Kansas High School Basketball - Western Plains/Healy overwhelmed by Pawnee Heights
December 14, 2021: Rozel, KS 67574 The Pawnee Heights Tigers basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Western Plains/Healy to 12 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 17. Pawnee Heights will battle a Blue Jays team coming off a 40-38 non-league win over Meade (Meade, KS). The Blue Jays record now stands at 5-0.
The (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Golden Plains (Rexford, KS). The Bulldogs come into the Western Kansas Liberty contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Golden Plains triumphed over St. Francis (St. Francis, KS), 66-51, in a non-league contest.
