Ohio High School Basketball - Spencerville tops Riverdale
December 14, 2021: Mt. Blanchard, OH 45867 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Spencerville Bearcats (Spencerville, OH) and the host Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH), saw Spencerville's basketball squad knock off Riverdale by a count of 57-40.
With the victory, Spencerville upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Leipsic (Leipsic, OH) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 16. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Leipsic lost 54-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Miller City (Miller City, OH)
Next up, the Falcons play the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets (Pandora, OH) in a Blanchard Valley challenge, on Thursday, December 16. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 60-36 non-league win over Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH).
