Universal Academy (Irving, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting A Plus Academy Knights (Dallas, TX), 88-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Universal Academy upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season.

Next up, the Knights clash with the Newman International Academy Warriors (Cedar Hill, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, December 20. A Plus Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
