North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee County ripped by Apex Friendship

December 14, 2022: Sanford, NC 27330

The Apex Friendship Patriots basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Lee County Yellow Jackets to 43 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Panther Creek for a 4A Conference 29 contest on Friday, December 16. Apex Friendship will meet a Catamounts team coming off a 73-52 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 6-0.

The Yellow Jackets (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Bucks enter the 3A/4A Conference 24 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Hoke County was routed by Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 78-49, in a league contest.
