Arkansas High School Basketball - Lafayette County crushes Spring Hill
December 14, 2022: Stamps, AR 71860 Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR), 69-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lafayette County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Oden (Oden, AR) to play the Timberwolves in a 1A Region 7 bout on Saturday, December 17. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 0-12. Oden lost 74-26 in their recent league bout against Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR)
Next up, the Bears play the Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR) in a 2A Region 7 bout, on Thursday, December 15. Spring Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 67-41 league win over Dierks (Dierks, AR).
