December 14, 2022: Rockford, IL 61114 The Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) basketball nipped the host Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), 63-60 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (7-2) will now prepare for their test against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Barbs go into the DuPage Valley test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, DeKalb was tipped by East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 54-48, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Neuqua Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Lutheran will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 92-77 non-league win over Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.
