Ballou Knights (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bard Falcons (Washington, DC), 39-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Ballou upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Bell (Washington, DC) to play the Griffins in a DCSAA bout on Friday, December 16. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Bell lost 64-7 in their recent league bout against Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Falcons play the McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA bout, on Monday, December 19. Bard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Trainers go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 0-0 league Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering (Washington, DC).
