The Clinton Dark Horses basketball team scored 26 points and held the host Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs to 24 in the Dark Horses non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Dark Horses now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Bladen for a 2A Conference 7 contest on Friday, December 16. Clinton will meet a Knights team coming off a 60-16 non-league win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils enter the 2A Conference 6 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, South Lenoir was nudged by Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC), 50-22, in a league contest.
