December 14, 2022: Calypso, NC 28365 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) and the visiting James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC), saw North Duplin's basketball squad wallop James Kenan by a tally of 61-33.
With the victory, North Duplin improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Rebels host Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Eastern Wayne won 47-24 in their recent non-league test against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC)
The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Kinston for a 2A Conference 6 test on Friday, December 16. James Kenan will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 51-46 non-league win over West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.
