The Tipton Blue Devils basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Sheridan Blackhawks to 44 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis Cass for a Hoosier - East contest on Friday, December 16. Tipton will meet a Kings team coming off a 41-33 non-league win over Delphi Community (Delphi, IN). The Kings record now stands at 4-6.

The Blackhawks (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Comets enter the Hoosier Heartland contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Eastern was defeated by Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN), 52-21, in a non-league contest.
