North Carolina High School Basketball - North Stokes thwarts Rockingham County
December 14, 2022: Danbury, NC 27016 The North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC), 47-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Alleghany went down by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 38-16, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Guilford for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Rockingham County will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 70-29 non-league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.
