Texas High School Basketball - Carlisle tops Leverett's Chapel
December 14, 2023: Price, TX 75687 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Carlisle Indians (Price, TX) and the visiting Leverett's Chapel Lions (Leverett's Chapel, TX), saw Carlisle's basketball squad knock off Leverett's Chapel by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Carlisle improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 22 challenge on Monday, December 18. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Mt. Enterprise won 76-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Detroit Eagles (Detroit, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Leverett's Chapel will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record.
