California High School Basketball - Castaic overwhelms Desert Christian

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) and the host Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), saw Castaic's basketball squad wallop Desert Christian by a tally of 85-32.

With the victory, Castaic improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Santa Fe lost 59-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Charter Oak (Covina, CA)

Next up, the Knights confront the The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA) in a Heritage challenge, on Monday, December 18. Desert Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 71-62 league win over Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA).
