The Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) basketball nipped the host Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves (Rocklin, CA), 43-42 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cardinals (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Colusa (Colusa, CA). The RedHawks go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Colusa got by Williams (Williams, CA), 73-52, in a non-league test.
