Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE) and the visiting Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE), saw Hay Springs's basketball squad wallop Creek Valley by a tally of 76-41.

With the victory, Hay Springs improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Morrill (Morrill, NE) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Morrill lost 43-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Mitchell (Mitchell, NE)

Next up, the Storm play the Peetz Bulldogs (Peetz, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Creek Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 66-18 non-league win over Banner County (Harrisburg, NE).
