December 14, 2023: Marianna, AR 72360 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lee Trojans (Marianna, AR) and the visiting Dermott Rams (Dermott, AR), saw Lee's basketball squad overcome Dermott by a tally of 74-57.
With the victory, Lee improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Dumas (Dumas, AR) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Dumas lost 59-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR)
Next up, the Rams play the Bearden Bears (Bearden, AR) in a 1A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Dermott will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 59-48 league loss to Emerson (Emerson, AR).
