The Hyde Park Panthers basketball team (Austin, TX), dropped 33-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Victoria Cobra HomeSchool Cobra (Victoria, TX)

The Cobra now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bracken Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool will battle a Warriors team coming off a 47-16 non-league win over Lifegate Christian (Seguin, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 13-3.

The Panthers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against New Braunfels Thunder (New Braunfels, TX). The Thunder come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, New Braunfels Thunder dropped by New Braunfels Christian Academy (New Braunfels, TX), 65-31, in a non-league battle.
