Iowa High School Basketball - Midland can't hold off Tipton
December 14, 2023: Tipton, IA 52772 The Tipton Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Midland Eagles to 56 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Regina for a River Valley contest on Friday, December 15. Tipton will battle a Regals team coming off a 58-50 league win over West Branch (West Branch, IA). The Regals record now stands at 5-2.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Cedar (Stanwood, IA). The Knights come into the Tri-Rivers contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, North Cedar was nudged by Easton Valley (Preston, IA), 56-48, in a non-league contest.
