December 14, 2023: Baxter, TN 38544 The Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) basketball nipped the visiting Murphysboro Red Devils (Murphysboro, IL), 45-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bees (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Northview (Covina, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Northview was tipped by Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT), 51-27, in a non-league test.
The Red Devils now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Wayne for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Murphysboro will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 34-30 non-league loss to Northview (Covina, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
