Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Richton Rebels (Richton, MS) and the visiting West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS), saw Richton's basketball squad overcome West Marion by a tally of 57-37.

With the victory, Richton improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host East Central (Moss Point, MS) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. East Central lost 60-51 in their recent league challenge against Vancleave (Vancleave, MS)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. West Marion will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 56-52 non-league loss to East Marion (Columbia, MS).
