Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA), saw Service's basketball squad knock off Valley View by a count of 67-55.

With the victory, Service upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hesperia (Hesperia, CA) to play the Scorpions in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Hesperia won 68-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK)

Next, the Eagles encounter the Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 15. Valley View will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 64-56 non-league win over Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK).
