Missouri High School Basketball - St. Pius X overwhelms Sumner
December 14, 2023: St. Louis, MO 63113 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) and the host Sumner Bulldogs (St. Louis, MO), saw St. Pius X's basketball squad wallop Sumner by a count of 50-28.
With the victory, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Waynesville (Waynesville, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Waynesville lost 61-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Forsyth (Forsyth, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Affton Cougars (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 26. Sumner will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 57-53 non-league win over Brownstown/St. Elmo (St. Elmo, IL).
