December 14, 2023: Leola, SD 57456 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) and the visiting Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD), saw Leola/Frederick's basketball squad hold off Aberdeen Christian by a tally of 43-41.
With the victory, Leola/Frederick improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Waubay/Summit lost 57-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Florence/Henry (Florence, SD)
Next up, the Knights confront the Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Aberdeen Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Pheasants come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 51-47 non-league win over Deuel (Clear Lake, SD).
