Kansas High School Basketball - Ell-Saline fells Belle Plaine
December 14, 2023: Belle Plaine, KS 67013 Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Belle Plaine Dragons (Belle Plaine, KS), 49-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ell-Saline upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Remington (Whitewater, KS) to play the Broncos in a Heart of America bout on Friday, January 5. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Dragons play the Conway Springs Cardinals (Conway Springs, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Belle Plaine will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 50-18 non-league loss to Berean Academy (Elbing, KS).
